Wine Storage Ideas

True wine connoisseurs have entire rooms devoted to wine storage. Often these rooms are temperature controlled or located in the basement where it is dark and cool. But the rest of us like to have some table or cooking wine on hand and need a place to display it artfully. I say artfully because wine storage adds visual texture to any room and can even be the focal point. Here are three great ideas to add wine storage in your home.

Waypoint Wine/China Rack shown in door style 720R Maple Cognac finish

Here is a simple way to store wine in a kitchen. The Wine Rack is installed above a Wall China Cabinet in a country kitchen. It makes use of a small space and holds seven bottles. Shown here in Waypoint’s style¬†720R in Maple Cognac.

Waypoint Island Wine Rack shown in Maple Butterscotch Glaze

A Wine Rack Cabinet is integrated into the back of a kitchen island in this photo. Flanked by Base Spice Drawer Cabinets and stacked over a standard wall cabinet, it makes a nice transition from the kitchen work area to the adjacent living room. An arrangement like this turns the island into a multi-functional unit. Shown here in style 720R in Maple Butterscotch Glaze.

Waypoint Bar shown in Cherry Spice

The Wine Storage Cabinet is the type often seen in upscale restaurants. Here two are installed below the countertop of a beverage center located in a living room making entertaining easy. Shown here in Waypoint’s style 513S in Cherry Spice.
