WAYPOINT LIVING SPACES® 5th ANNUAL SHOWCASE YOUR SPACE REMODEL CONTEST
Best Kitchen Design—Rob & Debbie Paulson of Floor To Ceiling Kitchen Bath & Flooring
We recently announced the winners of our 5th annual Waypoint Living Spaces® “Showcase Your Space” Remodel Contest. Now I’d like to take the time to share some details of each of our winning designs, as well as a little bit about the Dealer/Designers behind them.
Our winning kitchen design comes from Rob and Debbie Paulson, of Floor to Ceiling, Kitchen, Bath and Flooring, in Elk Grove, CA. This family-owned-company has been in business since 2001, with a mission to provide their clients with the finest experience, exceptional service, premium selection, and a customer friendly atmosphere. They do it all, from cabinets and countertops, to flooring and plumbing fixtures. They are also the contractor, so they control all phases of the project.
The client’s old kitchen had become dated, and no longer functioned for this family. They were definitely in need of a makeover. The family wanted a modern space with easy functionality, but their main request was to have the reno done by Christmas!
I am so impressed with the amount of storage space Rob and Debbie were able to provide in this open-concept kitchen. Our 610 Painted Stone door style provides a fresh, neutral color palette, which is anchored by the complementary Maple Espresso stained island. I absolutely adore these two finishes together! (#handsclap) Rob and Debbie did an amazing job of planning the layout of the space. This arrangement allows for ample seating by incorporating an eat-in-kitchen dining table, as well as seating at the island. I would also like to give these designers props on incorporating a gourmet chef’s appliance package. Note how they were able to incorporate numerous appliances, yet the space still feels super-chic. Check out the focal point created in the cooking zone with the use of staggered height cabinetry. Another awesome design feature to mention is the use of stacked appliance garage storage on the countertop. This breaks up the long wall of cabinetry, and creates separation for the wet bar area. Who wants a drink? I am absolutely in love with this super-functional and inviting open-concept kitchen! Congrats to Rob and Debbie!
We asked Rob and Debbie to tell us a little about their project and their experience with Waypoint® cabinetry. Here’s what they said.
Rob & Debbie: The homeowner was in need of more storage and countertop space. They also wanted to incorporate new professional-style appliances. One of the most important factors was being able to cook for a large family, and to entertain.
Rob & Debbie: Waypoint® was the best value for the customer, and they fell in love with the Painted Stone finish. The short lead time was also important in order for us to meet the customers requested completion date.
Rob & Debbie: We have a fantastic rep, Jenny Darling, who was easily accessible and answered questions in a timely manner. We also liked the quick lead time; this was a contributing factor in our customer’s overall level of satisfaction.
Congratulations to our Best Kitchen Design winner! I love to see how our Dealer/Designers use Waypoint® cabinetry to create beautiful, functional living spaces for their clients. I can’t wait to share the other winners with you as well!
